Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This policy explains what information Groundwork (“Groundwork,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Groundwork is a revenue-operations consulting practice based in California, USA, and this policy is governed by California law.
The short version
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email. We never sell your data, never add you to a marketing cadence, and keep the site cookieless with no third-party ad trackers. This is the same principle as our Reply Rule: we reply when you ask – nothing automated.
Information we collect
- Contact form & email. When you submit the form or email us, we receive the name, company, email address, and message you provide. We use it only to reply to you – there is no marketing opt-in and no newsletter.
- Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first service that records only aggregate, anonymous usage (e.g., page views, referrer, country, device type). It does not identify you, does not set tracking cookies, and does not track you across other sites.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or marketing automation pixels on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and scope potential work.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
The Revenue Intelligence Benchmark
The Revenue Intelligence Benchmark and our other benchmark tools are hosted separately at benchmark.revenuegroundwork.com and are anonymous by design: they require no email or account, and they do not store your responses on our servers. Your answers stay in your browser – if you choose to share a result link, your answers are encoded into that link’s URL, so you control who receives it.
Sharing & processors
We do not sell or rent your information. We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the site and our communications, each acting as a processor on our behalf:
- Vercel – hosting for this website and the benchmark application.
- Cloudflare – DNS for our domain.
- HubSpot – processing contact-form submissions and storing inquiries so we can reply to you.
- Google – Workspace for our email, and Google Fonts, which are served to your browser and may expose your IP address to Google when a page loads.
- Plausible Analytics – cookieless, aggregate site analytics, with no personal profiles or cross-site tracking.
We share your information with these providers only as needed to deliver the service, and only what is necessary.
Data retention
We keep inquiry messages only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain reasonable business records, then delete them. You can request deletion of your information at any time using the contact details below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at dan@revenuegroundwork.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us, and we sign mutual NDAs before reviewing any live CRM or financial data during an engagement. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the same rigor we bring to our clients’ systems.
Children
This site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
